Botulinum Toxin Around the Eye

The very first therapeutic use of toxin was in conditions around the eye and therapy in this area is now well established. Conditions that respond include squints and spasm of the eyelid (blepharospasm). Treatment should be performed by an ophthalmologist, and is often restricted to specialist centres.
